The soles look great, with two different areas of texture that contact the ground--one that resembles sandpaper and one of sort of inset glass-type chips. We have used them little so far, but they have done great on ice and wet mild snow. I wouldn't wear them in the house though since it looks like they could tear up the floor and also since I'm unsure what it would take to destroy the really useful glass-chip looking things. It also helps if you have good leg muscles since they are good and heavy.

I ordered expensive boots online for the skid resistant treads. Boots have 6” steel toes and are too heavy for me to wear all day. I sent an email asking for address as instructed on Work Wearhouse web site. No response. Sent email to customer service. No response. Have called customer service. No answer. Left message. No response. I am unable to find a mailing address.
I recommend you do not buy anything from Work Wearhouse you might wish to return.
